ANNUAL REPORTC17 Council & C17 administrators
The C17 Council and C17 Administrators are uniquely qualified to represent the pediatric oncology and hematology communities in Canada and to address issues of national importance on their behalf. This unique position stems from several important characteristics of the C17, since they:
- Represent all the departments that collectively deliver care to every child in Canada suffering from cancer or a serious blood disorder
- Represent all of the pediatric hematologists and oncologists in Canada and all of the academic centres with programs in pediatric hematology and oncology
- Have established working relationships with the major institutions in pediatric oncology and hematology
- Have developed a close working relationship with Children’s Oncology Group in the U.S. and have strong connections to other international organizations
