C17 Education
As a highly specialized area pediatric oncology has specific requirements for the training of professionals able to deliver care according to accepted standards and guidelines. Educational programs – both for recent graduates and experienced health professionals – are an essential component of efforts to ensure that there are adequate resources delivering high quality care across the country.
We develop, organize and promote educational research and training opportunities, tools, and materials that will support health professionals in delivering a high quality national pediatric hematology and oncology and stem cell transplantation service across Canada.

The “Pediatric Oncology Education Materials” website www.pedsoncologyeducation.com is being developed as a Canadian pediatric oncology e-learning resource by Dr. Karen Goddard, with help from numerous pediatric oncology educators from across Canada.
They are currently looking for feedback about the site and would like to know how useful this resource would be in your practice, either as an educator or learner, how you think it could be improved. As your input is very important and much appreciated, please feel free to contact the C17 office in you have any feedback, comments, and/our suggestions. Thank you very much for your help.
